There are very subtle tools used by all governments to manipulate the masses. Religion is one. Nationalism and Patriotism, others. Fear, probably the most misunderstood. Media is another forum of subjective subconscious manipulation. How often do we see news about violence? Corruption? National security? Our lives are governed by our fears. And our fears are exploited by government.
